SUMMER 2016 REGISTRATIONS ARE OPEN!!
Registrations for our 2016 summer program are officially open.
Since Sports4Life has been accepted by EMSA (Elgin Middlesex Soccer Association), we will have the opportunity to register teams to play in the EMDSL Development League (Elgin Middlesex District Soccer League). We will start this year by registering teams in the age categories U8-U12. Due to the limited number of girls in our teams, we will be registering boys’ teams only in the competitive league. Girls will still have the chance to work in our Long Term Development Program (LPTD) that we have been working on until now, as well as boys who decide not to participate in the league.
ALL OUR PROGRAMS ARE BASED ON:
LONG TERM PLAYER DEVELOPMENT (LTPD)
Physical – This is an optimal window for trainability of speed, flexibility and skills.
Technical – Building a greater repertoire of soccer related movements; technical skills are developed in training and within the context of basic soccer games.
Tactical – Developing environmental awareness and encouraging decision making – simple combinations, marking and running into space.
Mental – Golden age of learning (from 5 to 12); intrinsic motivation is developed by fun and enjoyment that fosters desire to play; imagination, creativity, increased demands and discipline.
Our main purpose is to make children grow strong, not only physically but also mentally.

SUMMER PROGRAM
1) Players Registering on the EMDSL Development League (U8, U9, U10, U11, U12)
- Cost: $300
- Includes: full uniform; practice T-shirt, three festivals (full day soccer games), 16 official games, and practices every week.
2) Players Registering on the Long Term Development Program. No league games. (All categories)
- Cost: $250
- Includes: T-shirt, practices twice a week and no competitive games.
